Welcome to Osaka International School's curriculum mapping
portal via Atlas.
Our goal in sharing this information is to promote an
understanding of the knowledge, concepts and skills that
students should acquire in each course at each grade level. We
sincerely hope that, by sharing these outcomes, we can build
trusting partnerships with parents and engage in more meaningful
conversations about student learning and achievement.
When viewing these maps, please keep in mind that curriculum is
continually being developed and updated. Also note the
information on this public site is provided to give you an
overview over the large-picture view of course content and
focus, and are not lesson plans, or details of what a teacher
will teach any given day or week of the school year. The weeks
listed on the units are a guide, and adjusted by the teacher to
cater for differing student's learning needs, abilities and
styles. Interruptions to regular classes such as field trips may
also affect the timing of the units.
Thank you for your interest, and please feel free to contact
subject teachers for more detailed information if you would like
it, or if you have any questions.
